Who:  Who is My LayAway?

The easy answer? My LayAway is the year-round delivery side of Santas Choice. Santas Choice has been helping families save for the holidays since 2002, when we were first known as Chrisco Hampers.  Our team has been together for a long time now, and we are dedicated to providing top quality customer service and products. In 2013, we launched www.MyLayAway.ca so we could offer delivery of amazing products all through the year!  We are the easiest way to LayAway the items that you want, without a down payment, credit check or high administration fees! 

How:  How does it work?

Another great question! Simply have a look at all the various categories for your favourite items by clicking on the links to the left. Decide what you want, when you want to start payments and when you would like it delivered!  Use our handy dandy Budget Calculator to figure out what payments will work for you! Then just add the item to your cart and proceed to checkout or give us a call at 1-800-847-0236. We will email you confirmation of your order and all the payment details.

Once it’s paid off, it will be shipped and arrive in 4-6 weeks.

Pricing: What is included in the Price?

All our MyLayAway prices are one price to your door - including all the taxes, administration and "curbside" delivery of the products. In some cases (remote areas) there may be an additional delivery fee. We will notify you well in advance of delivery.

For Major Appliances, if delivery fees are extra, it is indicated on the product page. Delivery fees are based on your location and will added when we enter your order. You will be notified by email.

Ordering: How do I place an order?

It’s so easy! You can order online by just adding items to your cart and checking out or just call us at 1-800-847-0236.  Once you place your order, we will write or email confirmation of your order details and payment amount. You choose the payments, interval and term length.

Ordering: Can I order as a gift for someone else?

Of course!  When you order, fill in YOUR details for the mailing address and THEIR details into the delivery address. Be sure to provide their complete delivery address, including buzzer code or special instructions, and their phone number. Once it’s paid off, you will know it will arrive in 4-6 weeks. 

Ordering:  Can I change my order?

Of course you can!  If you change your mind before it’s paid in full, just email us at MyLayaway@santaschoice.ca and we will make the updates for you and work out any price difference.

Payment: Length of Layaway Term

  • That’s Easy!  Anywhere from one payment to one year! LayAway YOUR way! Just remember, it takes between 4-6 weeks after it’s paid off.
  • Do you want to have it for THIS summer? Pay it off by June, and we can make it happen!
  • Christmas Gifts? Pay it off by the end of October!
  • Father’s Day  / Mother’s Day /Graduation? No problem! Click here for Holiday cut off dates.

Payment: How do I pay for my LayAway order?

  • Pre-authorized debit: If you are placing your order online, you will be asked for your banking details to complete your order. Then payments are automatically withdrawn from your account on the cycle that you’ve chosen.
  • Telephone / internet banking / Bill Payment at your bank (use your My LayAway customer number as your Account Number and choose SANTAS CHOICE as the Bill Payor.
  • Cheques - Please make payable to Santas Choice Inc
  • Money orders - Please make payable to Santas Choice Inc

Pre-authorized debit straight from your bank account is the easiest way to keep your payments on track. You pick the payment schedule, and start date. Your total order amount is divided by the number of intervals between the time you place your order and the final payment date that you chose. We will only take out the agreed payment amount. If you want to pay by other methods, you will need to make sure that we receive your payment according to your payment schedule to ensure that your delivery is when you would like. 

Payment: What is our refund policy?

All payments made to your order are held as non refundable deposits. You are our first priority, and we will work out a solution with you. If your circumstances change, we will work out a payment plan with you and help you select an order up to the amount paid. If you need to cancel your order, you can select something up to the value that you have saved so far!. This means that if you had saved $300, we will help you choose Baskets, products or gift certificates worth $300

MyLayAway No Refund policy takes effect 15 days after you place your order. Upon approval by MyLayAway, at our sole discretion, any permitted cancellation after such day will be subject to a 25% administration fee based upon the amount you paid to the date of cancellation.

Payment: Payments and Adjustments

By placing your order, you acknowledge that all your payments will be held by MyLayAway as non-refundable deposits, and at such time MyLayAway will apply the non-refundable deposits against the purchase price of your order.

Payment: Credit Balances

We reserve the right to deduct a $5 monthly administration fee from any credit balance on an inactive account.

Delivery: Where does MyLayAway Deliver?

We are pleased to be able to deliver anywhere Canada. If you live in an area deemed rural by Canada Post, additional delivery charges may apply for large items. These will be confirmed at the time of your order

Delivery: When do I get my order?

When it’s paid off, it’s usually delivered in 4-6 weeks. Please note - some major appliances may take longer as they are shipped direct. We make every attempt to keep you updated if there are delays.

Delivery: Will I receive the same products as shown on the website?

We make every effort to supply products exactly as shown on the website. If necessary, substitutions may be made for products of equal or greater retail value and you will be notified of any substitutions. All efforts have been made to check for errors and omissions in typography and photography. However, inadvertent errors may occur for which My LayAway will not be responsible. Product images are for illustrative purposes only.

Delivery: Flexible Delivery Times 

Once your order is paid in full - it can be delivered! When your order is paid off, just contact us to arrange delivery. It should take approximately 4-6 weeks for delivery. for our handy Holiday Calendar!

Updates:  A change of banking details, address, or phone number?

Please let us know as soon as possible! For your own security, if you call us with a change of address, we will ask you some security questions to make sure it’s really you!

Other: Your right to cancel your order

How to Cancel: You must give notice of cancellation to MyLayaway, email: penny@santaschoice.ca, fax: 1.877.323.3983 or by mail: P.O. Box 6400, Stn Agincourt, Scarborough, ON M1S 0B2. You must give notice by a method of cancellation that will allow you to prove that you gave notice, including registered mail, fax, email or personal delivery

MyLayaway No Refund policy takes effect 15 days (Cooling Off Period) after you place your order. After the Cooling Off Period, upon approval by MyLayaway, at MyLayaway's sole discretion, MyLayaway will charge you an administration cancellation fee as follows:

• 15 days after the order date: 25% of monies paid at the cancellation date (up to a maximum fee of $100)

• Cancel within 15 days (Cooling Off Period) of the order date: Santas Choice will issue a full refund
